Campaign Photographer Manchester: Behind the Scenes with LADbible Group x Benenden Health

When LADbible Group needed a campaign photographer in Manchester for the launch of Benenden Health's "Your Health is on the Line" campaign, the centrepiece was impossible to miss: a bright pink phone box in St Ann's Square, built to persuade a busy city to stop putting its health on hold.

Campaign Photographer Manchester: a national launch in St Ann’s Square

Benenden Health's first social-led campaign, created with LADbible Group, needed stills that could carry it across every channel, social media, website, digital advertising, CRM, print and PR. Manchester was chosen deliberately: the campaign's research found over half of Mancunians say busy lifestyles stop them looking after their health as well as they'd like.

The brief: one shoot, a whole campaign's assets

The brief called for a flexible library from a single production day: lifestyle-led hero imagery of the phone box with talent interacting naturally, clean cut-outs for design use, copy-space compositions for web and display, portraits across a range of ages, and detail shots down to the pink handset and door furniture.

Behind the scenes with the LADbible Group production team

Campaign stills rarely happen on an empty set. I worked embedded in a full LADbible Group production, camera and sound crews filming contributors and creators in the box between my set-ups, shooting behind-the-scenes and production stills alongside the hero photography. On-set work means moving fast, staying out of the video crew's frames and catching the real moments between takes.

Delivered

Priority assets were delivered within two days of the shoot, followed by the full edited library in portrait and landscape, now live across Benenden Health's social channels, website, advertising and print.

I'm available for campaign, brand activation, behind-the-scenes and production stills photography in Manchester, Birmingham and across the UK. Get in touch to talk through your shoot.
